Chinese Medicine — Without the Needles

Not everyone is ready for acupuncture. :(

Some people are needle-sensitive.

Some are curious but hesitant.

Some simply prefer hands-on therapy.

But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the depth and pattern-based approach of Chinese medicine.

That’s why I’ve added a new service:

Targeted Muscle & Fascia Therapy (30 minutes)

This session offers the clinical reasoning and meridian-based approach of Chinese medicine — delivered through hands-on techniques instead of a full needle treatment.

It combines:

  • Therapeutic cupping

  • Gua sha

  • Meridian-based myofascial release

  • Focused muscle work

Rather than generic soft tissue work, treatment is guided by meridian pathways and pattern diagnosis. We’re not just working on tight muscles — we’re working along the channels that influence how tension develops and persists.

Who This Is For

This session is especially supportive for people who:

  • Want to experience Chinese medicine without acupuncture

  • Feel anxious about needles

  • Prefer hands-on treatment

  • Have localized muscle tension (shoulder, neck, hips, low back)

  • Want a focused, approachable starting point

Optional Minimal Acupuncture Support

For those open to it, 2–4 distal acupuncture points can be added to enhance circulation and relaxation — without placing needles in the painful area.

This is always optional.

A Different Way In

Chinese medicine is more than needles.

It’s a way of understanding how patterns of tension form, how circulation changes, and how structure and internal balance influence each other.

This service offers an entry point into that system — in a format that feels approachable and grounded.

If you’ve been curious but unsure whether acupuncture was for you, this may be the right place to start.
